The Williams Family needs your help!
It’s been a rough 3 weeks, but I’m oh so grateful to God that I’m still here. I always tell people I love them just so you know where you stand with me, and this is the very reason why. But God’s not done with me yet!
3 weeks ago, I had a medical emergency that led to an emergency surgery on the day of my BabyGirl’s graduation. Broke my heart not being there.
In the meantime, I had lost all feeling and strength in my right arm and was experiencing excruciating pain and headaches. Had an MRI and CT scan and found out my neck was in really bad shape. I won’t go into all of the technical terms of everything that I’m suffering from in my neck and spine.
On Thursday, I had anterior cervical discectomy and fusion of the C3, C4, C5, C6 in my neck.
Grateful for Dr. Ohio and his staff at KU Med for their amazing work. Grateful to my Wife and BabyGirl for being there every step of the way. Grateful for my village, church family, Hot 103 family for keeping me covered.
The long road of 6-8 weeks to recovery from both surgeries is underway, and your boy is in tremendous pain!
Friends have been asking how they can help, and I could use all the prayers I can get right now, meals, donations, etc. I’m an independent contractor, I don’t have FMLA or short-term disability, so I will be without any income for the next 6-8 weeks. Not being able to work any of my jobs is definitely taking a toll on our family as the medical bills and regular monthly bills continue to mount up.
Thank you in advance for your help. Love y’all so much.
