Help Support Bob and His Family Through His Terminal Cancer Battle
Mark and Melissa Randall of New England Claims Service, Inc. are reaching out with heavy hearts on behalf of one of our own -Robert (Bob) Smith Jr. – a great friend, dedicated employee, a loving husband, and a father of two. For years Bob has been an essential part of our family, and our team.
Now, he needs our help.
In April 2024, Bob was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Bob went in fighting with the heart of a lion and tenacity of a pro fighter. He endured multiple rounds of chemo and radiation during his courageous fight, but regretfully the cancer continues to spread and is now terminal. Bob has now entered hospice care in the comfort of his home.
Bob has always been the kind of person who shows up – for his job, for his coworkers, and most importantly, for his family. He has, and still is, fighting a good fight, but the nightmare scenario for the Smith Family continues. As the cancer progresses, the tremendous physical, emotional, and financial toll has been overwhelming.
Bob and his wife Heather, have always been a dual-income household, working hard to provide a stable, loving home for the two children Bobby, and Elizabeth. Now, Heather is doing everything she can to care for Bob full-time while keeping life as normal as possible for her family. But with mounting medical bills – including treatments, medications, home care and travel to specialists, the bills are piling up fast. Insurance only covers so much, and losing Bobs income is a Category 5 Disaster for the Smith Family.
This is where we can make a difference.
We are asking our community, colleagues, friends , family, and kind-hearted strangers to help ease the burden for Bob’s family. Your donation will go directly toward:
Medical bills and out-of-pocket treatment costs
Home Health care and equipment
Daily living expenses for the family and support as Heather, Bobby and Elizabeth navigate this life-changing time
Funeral expenses when the time comes, allowing the family to grieve without financial stress.
Bob has given so much to everyone around him – always with humility, hard work, humor, and a quiet strength that inspires us all. Now we want to give back.
If you are able, please consider donating. And if you can’t give sharing this campaign would mean the world to us. Together, we can help bring some comfort and dignity to a man who truly deserves it, and ensure his family doesn’t face this storm alone.
With gratitude and love,
Mark, Melissa and all of Bob’s extended “family” at New England Claims Service.
