Help Jady Ferguson get a Second Chance at Life

Hi, my name is Jackie Ferguson, and I’m the proud mother of Jady Ferguson. I’m creating this fundraiser to help save my daughter’s life as she faces a heartbreaking and urgent journey: her second kidney transplant.

Jady’s Story

Jady received her first kidney on June 13, 2019, a life-saving gift from a deceased donor that brought her strength, freedom, and hope. For several years, she was finally able to enjoy a sense of normalcy—working, laughing, dreaming, and living.

But in December 2024, everything changed.

A routine kidney biopsy revealed devastating news: Jady’s body had begun rejecting her transplanted kidney. By that time, the damage was already severe—the kidney was scarred and functioning at just 25%. Since then, she has been undergoing aggressive treatments, including infusions, immunosuppressants, and daily medications in an effort to slow the rejection and preserve what little function remains.

✅ Approved for a Second Transplant—But It Won’t Be Easy

On June 3, 2025, Jady was officially approved for a second kidney transplant at UCSF Medical Center. But there’s one major complication: Jady has very high antibody levels, which makes finding a compatible donor extremely difficult.

Her blood type is A+, meaning she can receive a kidney from someone with A or O blood types (Rh factor doesn’t matter).

We are urgently seeking a living donor who may be a match.

If you are interested in being tested or learning more about becoming a living donor, please visit:

www.ucdonor.com and contact UCSF’s transplant team.

Even if you’re not a match for Jady, UCSF participates in a paired exchange program—your donation could still help Jady receive a kidney from another donor.

Why We Need Your Help

Jady’s condition is not just physically exhausting—it’s financially devastating. She is unable to work due to the toll of her illness and treatments, and the costs continue to rise.

We are asking for help to cover:

Out-of-pocket medical expenses

Life-sustaining medications

Basic living costs while Jady is unable to work

Every donation—no matter how small—brings us one step closer to saving her life.

You Can Make a Difference

We are praying every day that the right donor is found—before dialysis becomes her only option.

Whether you can give financially or simply help by sharing Jady’s story, your kindness is deeply appreciated.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion, prayers, and support during the most difficult time of our lives.

With love and gratitude,

Jackie Ferguson & Family

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
