“From Diagnosis to Recovery — I Can’t Do This Alone.”
Hi, my name is Keva and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. February 18,2025 I was diagnosed with stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer — a diagnosis that turned my entire world upside down and Since then, life has been a whirlwind of doctor visits, treatments, emotional ups and downs, and financial stress. Faced with this unimaginable diagnosis, a daunting treatment plan, and surgery, along with trying to support my three children my first response was “How am I going to pay for all of this” .
My Goal is $60,000, this number may seem big, and it is. But it reflects the actual cost of me surviving breast cancer while still trying to keep life going. Im not looking for luxury but stability. Survival. And a chance to heal without falling apart financially.
Fighting cancer is not just physically and emotionally exhausting — it’s financially overwhelming. I have health insurance but my insurance can only pay for so much, my medical bills, chemo treatments and medications fees are piling up fast. I’ve always taken pride in being independent and working hard, but right now, I need help. I’ve been pushing through treatment while still working, but I can’t keep going at this pace. After completing 12 rounds of chemo my doctor broke the news that the tumor still hasn’t shrunk and I’ll need an additional 4 more rounds . This amount covers my medical bills , my chemo treatments that the insurance won’t cover, radiation, deductible for surgery, living expenses, nutritional groceries , and other essentials while I take time off after Mastectomy Surgery to fully rest and recover.
Just $1 brings me one step closer
I’m asking for your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or just keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Every little bit helps and brings me one step closer to healing without the added stress of financial hardship.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and for standing with me during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.
With gratitude,
Ms. Keva
