Michelle is currently facing significant challenges due to a heart condition that requires ongoing procedures and regular checkups. In addition, she will be seeing specialists and undergoing follow up tests. As you can imagine, this goes far beyond just the physical.
Michelle and her husband have been traveling back and forth to Rochester for her treatments, which has created a financial burden. Between the cost of travel, meals on the road, and being unable to work, the expenses are quickly adding up.
If you know Michelle, you know she is one of the kindest, most selfless and caring people you will ever meet. She is strong, compassionate, and always the first to offer a helping hand to others. Now she is the one in need of support. Over 19 years, she has poured her heart into teaching at New York Mills and truly has an immense impact on our school community. She is always the one to put others first, never asking for help. That’s why we are here, as her colleagues, to ask on her behalf during this incredibly challenging time.

*Meals and accommodations during out-of-town visits
*Lost of income from time away from work
