Hello! My name is Lauren, I am Dominic’s mom. A year ago today, we found a lump on Dominic’s right leg. We thought it was just scar tissue from his surgery a year beforehand. Dominic went through six months of tests and checks. We finally did a biopsy and discovered he had a Desmoid tumor on his right leg.
Dominic is now in the middle of chemo treatment. The first set of chemo pills he tried, he had a severe reaction and was admitted to the hospital. Dominic is one of four children. He loves the outdoors and playing sports. At this time, Dominic does not want me to go back to work. I am off work for FMLA for 12 weeks. At this time, our family’s income went from two incomes to one income. With the many visits to the hospital and trying to find things Dominic is in the mood to eat, we need your help.
