Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
On May 31st, my life changed in an instant. What started as a normal day ended in a freak accident that left me fighting for my life. I’ve now spent the past two weeks in the ICU, undergone two surgeries, and I’m preparing for a long road ahead at a rehabilitation facility before I can safely return home.
To be honest, this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced—not just physically, but emotionally and financially. I’m still in shock that this is my reality. From hospital stays, surgeries, co-pays, and deductibles, to the sudden transition to disability, the financial weight of this unexpected trauma is overwhelming.
But through it all, I still have my faith. I still believe in the goodness of people. I still believe in miracles. I am leaning on God, my family, and my friends to carry me through. And now, I humbly ask for your help.
Whether it’s a donation, a prayer, a share of this page, or just a kind message—I need it all. Every little bit helps lighten the load and helps me focus on what matters most: healing and getting strong enough to come home.
If you know me, you know how hard it is for me to ask for help. But right now, I need to. And I’m trusting that God will provide through the hands and hearts of others.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for your love, your support, and your prayers. I feel every one of them.
With love and gratitude,
Jessica
