Hello, my name is Griselda Vázquez, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my nephew Alexis Carmona, who is going through a very difficult situation after a serious accident on June 11th.
Alexis suffered multiple fractures, including in his vertebrae, collarbone, and nose. He is currently hospitalized at the Hospital Civil in Guadalajara, Mexico, and is still waiting for two essential surgeries that are critical for his recovery.
Although he is in a public hospital, the reality is that the family is facing very high medical costs. The hospital does not provide most of the medications or medical supplies, so his mother has been forced to buy everything herself — including painkillers, antibiotics, surgical materials, specialized tests, and post-surgery care items.
The estimated cost they need to cover is $200,000 Mexican pesos (around $11,000 USD).
His mother is caring for him alone, with no financial support from his father.
Every day that passes is critical for Alexis’s health and well-being.

Hola, mi nombre es Griselda Vázquez y estoy organizando esta campaña para mi sobrino Alexis, quien está atravesando una situación muy delicada después de un grave accidente ocurrido el pasado 11 de junio.
Alexis sufrió múltiples fracturas, incluyendo en las vértebras, la clavícula y la nariz. Actualmente está hospitalizado en el Hospital Civil de Guadalajara, donde permanece a la espera de dos cirugías importantes para poder recuperarse.
Aunque seguirá en este hospital público, la familia enfrenta gastos médicos muy elevados. El hospital no proporciona la mayoría de los medicamentos ni materiales necesarios, por lo que su mamá ha tenido que comprar todo por su cuenta: analgésicos, antibióticos, materiales quirúrgicos, estudios especializados, entre otros insumos vitales.
El costo estimado que enfrentan es de $200,000 pesos mexicanos.
Su madre lo cuida sola, sin ningún apoyo del padre de Alexis.
Cada día que pasa es crítico para su salud y bienestar.
