Help Support Farmer During His Cancer Treatment
$20,000 Goal
As many of you may already know, Farmer was recently diagnosed with throat cancer that has spread to a lymph node. What began as a routine physical in April quickly turned serious when his doctor noticed a swollen gland that wouldn’t go away. This led to a CT scan, ENT appointments, and two biopsies confirming oropharyngeal cancer.
During that process, a sore on his lip that wasn’t healing was also biopsied and found to be squamous cell carcinoma—the same type of cancer found in his throat.
We’re grateful this was caught early, but the diagnosis has brought major emotional and financial challenges for Farmer and Cheryl. Starting in mid-June, Farmer will undergo seven weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. The treatment will take a physical toll, and he will be unable to work during this time due to the demanding nature of his job.
Although they have health insurance, the out-of-pocket costs are overwhelming, and the loss of income makes this even more difficult. That’s why we’ve set a $20,000 fundraising goal to help cover:
Medical and prescription expenses not covered by insurance
Daily living costs while Farmer is unable to work
Travel to and from treatment
Support for Cheryl as she cares for him
Every contribution helps—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or sharing this page. Farmer and Cheryl are deeply thankful for your support and encouragement.
We are hopeful and confident in a full recovery. This will be a tough season, but with your help, they won’t have to face it alone.
Thank you for standing with them during this time.
