David’s Medical Bills: A Caregiver’s Plea

Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and this is my husband David. I have been his caregiver for the last 14 years since he suffered a major stroke. Over the years, he has had many complications. I try to give him the best quality of life I can as he spends most days in a hospital bed or recliner.

Most recently, he was in the hospital suffering from a heart attack. He is home now recovering from the latest complications. We have lots of medical bills and have fallen behind on our household bills. As a caregiver, I help him with everything, and I work part-time as work is slow in the summer. We just need some help so we can just breathe and help us navigate these latest complications.

We would be so grateful to have some relief. I hope you can help us. He means the world to me, and even caregivers need to ask for help.
