Hi, this is Carl. We have been helping him for several years and he has been a longtime family friend. Over the last few years he has been struggling with cancer and has a tumor that is nearing his airway. He was told they may need to remove part of his jaw to do surgery on this, and he has seem numerous dra who would not even consider surgery because he is high risk and has Lupis, a blood clotting disorder which he needs blood thinners for. This disorder caused him to lose both of his legs to right underneath the knee. He has been wheelchair bound. We aren’t sure how long he has, but he needs surgery and a better quality of life. He’s in pain constantly and recently his tumor has begun bleeding . Drs are not sure why. Anything you can contribute will help towards surgery and quality of life for him, and housing.
