Two years ago, our beautiful and loving mom Sharon received the extremely difficult news that she had developed breast cancer. She has spent much of the time since then seeking out treatments that align with her values and financial situation and fighting to maintain her health and strength. Despite her efforts and resilience, her physical strength and mobility have been rapidly decreasing over the past several months. She is now struggling with very low energy and increasing daily pain and has largely lost use of her dominant hand and arm. She will soon be unable to continue working and caring for herself, but has been living paycheck to paycheck and medical bills, medication, and basic living expenses are continuing to pile up.
We are setting up this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden. Every donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward covering:
• Medical bills, prescriptions, and treatments
• Basic needs and household expenses
• Transportation costs
Our mom means the world to us and has always been the kind of person who lifts others up. We want to return the favor with love, support, and whatever we can give.
