Supporting the Real Cost of Having a Baby Through Surrogacy

I’m currently a surrogate for a couple planning to grow their family through surrogacy and egg donation. We haven’t done the embryo transfer yet—it’s scheduled for this fall—but I’ve seen enough of their journey to know they’ve already been through hell to get here.

They’ve gone through multiple egg donors. One cycle resulted in zero viable embryos. Now they’re trying again—with everything on the line.

By the time this baby is born, their total investment will be close to $500,000. And no, that’s not an exaggeration. Between egg donor fees, IVF, testing, medications, legal, agency costs, and surrogacy—it adds up fast.

They are two of the kindest and most deserving people I’ve ever known. They’ve never asked for help. They have no idea I’m doing this. But I feel it in my heart that they shouldn’t have to carry this financial weight alone—not after everything they’ve already been through.

This fundraiser is my way of supporting them in a different way. Quietly. Anonymously. Because they deserve something to go right for once.

Every dollar raised will go directly to them to help with the cost of this process. Whether that’s medical bills, travel, storage fees, or simply breathing room—they deserve it.

If you’ve ever wanted to do something good for someone who truly deserves a win—this is it. And if you can’t donate, sharing still helps more than you know.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
