Help a Young Mom of 4 Fight for Her Health & Support Her Kids
Hi, my name is Taylor, and I’m 27 years old. I never imagined I’d be dealing with serious heart problems at this age, but here I am—hooked up to a heart monitor, facing the possibility of needing a pacemaker. Doctors are moving fast, but I desperately want a second opinion from a trusted heart specialist in Kansas City before making any life-changing decisions.
The problem is—I can’t afford to get there.
I’m a mother of four beautiful children, including a 5-month-old baby I nearly died giving birth to because of these heart issues. My days are spent caring for my kids, including two amazing sons who are autistic. One of them is 4 years old, nonverbal, and has apraxia—he needs a tablet to help him communicate, but we simply can’t afford one. My 5-year-old also has autism and struggles with elopement, making everyday safety a real concern. My oldest is my 6-year-old daughter, and all I want is to be here to watch her grow up.
Right now, my family is stretched thin emotionally and financially. Between medical appointments, caring for my children, and managing basic daily needs, it’s hard to even breathe some days—let alone think about the costs of travel, lodging, and getting the equipment my kids need.
That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help. My goal is to raise $30,000 to:
Travel to Kansas City for a second opinion on my heart condition
Cover any potential medical costs not covered by insurance
Purchase a communication tablet for my nonverbal son
Provide a small cushion to keep my family stable during this scary time
Any amount—no matter how small—makes a difference. Even just sharing this campaign can help me reach someone who might be able to give.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring. I just want the chance to stay healthy and be the mom my kids need.
With love and hope,
Taylor ❤️
