Alex Kiss is a gifted artist and architect, and a loving mother, wife, and friend. If you know Alex, you know how deeply she cares, how fiercely she shows up, and how strong she is—especially when it’s hard.
Since last fall, Alex has been battling an aggressive colon cancer that has since spread to her liver. She’s already undergone surgery and endured months of chemotherapy. After exhausting treatment options in Canada, Alex is now exploring care in the U.S., where more aggressive interventions may offer new paths forward.
The road ahead is still uncertain. It will likely involve surgery and more care. But for now, she’s focused on preparing for whatever comes next.
In Alex’s own words:
“I have a 7-year-old daughter who loves me to bits, and I am married to my high school sweetheart. I need to keep trying to beat this to be with them.”
We’re coming together to support Alex and her family during this time. Our goal is to help lift the financial weight so she can fully focus on her health and healing without the added stress of medical bills.
Our initial goal is set at CAD $75,000 to cover upcoming scan reviews and early consultations. As treatment progresses, we anticipate medical and support costs may reach up to CAD $200 000.
In addition to contributing here, you can also support Alex by purchasing her artwork directly through her website:
