As most of you know, I had my surgery in October to remove my thyroid due to cancer. In about a month, I will have to have radioactive iodine treatment. I have to be away from my family for a week. The doctors will not approve a hospital stay and have suggested a hotel stay instead, which I can’t afford. I asked them if there were other options, and they said no. I am trying to raise money for the hotel. I am hoping I can get enough for a week, which is the suggested amount of time needed to be free of radiation and can reunite with my family safely.
