After a long search, Nathan McVey has found a life-saving kidney donor—his own wife, Lyndi.
This week, Nathan and Lyndi will undergo transplant surgery together. While the procedure brings immense hope for Nathan’s health and future, it also comes with significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges.
Lyndi will be recovering at home (likely just a few days after the surgery) , but Nathan will need to remain in Rochester for several weeks post-op to be closely monitored by his transplant team. The cost of temporary housing, transportation, and out-of-pocket medical expenses adds up quickly, and we’re rallying together to help ease the burden on this incredibly generous and loving couple.
We are seeking $7,500 in donations to help cover:
- Nathan’s post-op housing in Rochester
- Uncovered medical expenses and prescriptions
- Travel costs and lost wages during recovery
If you know Nathan and Lyndi, you know their hearts. They’re the kind of people who show up for others—and now it’s our turn to show up for them.
Please consider donating and sharing their story. Every dollar and every share makes a difference!
