Maylyn’s Kidney Journey: Your Help Can Save Her Life

Hi, my name is May Arreza, and I’m humbly reaching out for your support, prayers, and kindness for someone incredibly dear to me — my sister, Maylyn Arreza Vega.

Maylyn is a devoted mother to her 8-year-old daughter, a loving sister, and a caring friend to many. In February 2024, she was diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Since then, she has been undergoing dialysis three times a week, a physically and emotionally exhausting process that helps keep her alive.

After months of testing, I’m incredibly blessed to share that I am a match to be her kidney donor. Her kidney transplant surgery is scheduled for June 23, 2025, at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) in the Philippines.

This is more than just a surgery — it’s a second chance at life. A chance for Maylyn to be the mom her daughter deserves. To watch her grow up, graduate, chase dreams, and build her own life.

However, this journey comes with tremendous financial challenges. That’s why we are humbly asking for your help to raise funds for:

• The transplant surgery costs

• Recovery and follow-up care

• Lifelong anti-rejection medications (she will need these daily)

• Other medical and living expenses during this journey

Every dollar counts, and every prayer matters. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your network. Your kindness will make a lasting impact — not just on Maylyn’s life, but on her daughter’s future.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. With your help, we can give Maylyn the gift of life and hope.

With love and gratitude,

May Arreza & Family

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
