Hello, my name is Daniel, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I am currently living in Wisconsin, but I need to raise funds to move back to Pennsylvania and secure an apartment so I can care for my father, who has suffered permanent brain damage.
This year 2025 of june, my father went in for a laser heart surgery that they rhought wouldbe a few hours and hed go home the next day. Well that wasnt the case. He went into cardiac arrest during surgery and ended up flat lineing for ten minutes without oxygen to the brain, which left him with serious cognitive impairments and damage to the left side of his brain. Since then, he’s been struggling to maintain daily activities, remembering dates months, his name, birthdate and his childrens. he’s in need of consistent care, both emotionally and physically. As one of his kids it’s my responsibility to ensure his health, well-being, and safety.
However, my father lives alone in Pennsylvania with some family scattered around but none willing to do what I need to do with my siblings. it has become increasingly difficult. I’ve been managing the situation as best as I can, but it’s clear that I need to be there with him every day.
The problem is, I’m currently in Wisconsin, and I need financial assistance to cover the costs of relocating, as well as securing a new apartment for both my father and me to live in. The funds raised will be used for:
• Moving expenses (transportation, fuel, etc.)
• First and last month’s rent for an apartment in Pennsylvania
• Essential furniture and supplies for the new home
• Basic living expenses as I transition and settle in
This move is crucial for me to provide the level of care my father desperately needs. He’s a kind soul who’s always been there for all of my sisters and I whenever he was possibly able too, and now it’s my turn to be there for him.
