On Wednesday, June 4th, a cornerstone of our family, a loving father, papa, husband, and friend, experienced an accident that will be a transformative journey in his life. Matt has been hospitalized at SLU since that day and is facing a courageous road to recovery. His resilience is an inspiration as he overcomes significant internal injuries. From the trauma center to intensive care, and hopefully in a couple weeks, to a rehabilitation center, Matt’s determination will carry him through. If you know Matt, you know his heart is full of love and kindness. He has always put others first, been a rock for his family, and is one of the hardest-working individuals you’ll ever meet. Due to this unfortunate accident, Matt is unable to work for an extended period of time, which is especially challenging as a self-employed contractor. We want to rally around him to ease the burdens he’ll face during his recovery. The journey ahead will be long, but with his unbreakable spirit, we know he’ll rise above. Please consider helping to alleviate the weight of medical bills and care that lie ahead. His strong will and the love of those around him will be the beacons that guide him toward healing and a brighter future.
