Earlier this week, on Tuesday June 10th, John was rushed to the hospital in the most critical ICU unit in Charlotte, NC—being treated for Legionnaires’ disease, a rare and serious form of pneumonia.
He has been in the ICU since Tuesday and is currently intubated on a ventilator, fighting through complications like fever, inflammation, and fluid buildup.
His recovery will likely be long, and his loved ones are by his side every day — navigating not only the emotional toll, but also the financial strain of this critical care.
