Help Our “Momma”Nana our Jen-NAY Heal: Open-Heart Surgery & Urgent Recovery Support

Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my mother-in-law, Jenny — or as most of us call her, Nana. She’s been in my life since I was 16, and she has loved me like her own from the very beginning. She’s helped raise my babies, been there for every milestone, and never once hesitated to show up when someone needed her.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
What started as a routine test turned into something none of us saw coming. Doctors found rare heart defects and signs of heart failure, and now she’s facing open-heart vascular surgery that needs to happen as soon as possible. It’s serious. It’s scary. And it’s sudden.
She’ll need time in the ICU, at least a week in inpatient cardiac rehab, and months of healing at home. She won’t be able to care for herself at all in the beginning, and her husband will need to take time off work to care for her full-time. With no income coming in and the cost of rehab, supplies, and medical equipment — the financial stress is overwhelming.
Jenny has always been the strong one, the helper, the one who holds the whole family together. She’s raised her kids and grandkids in a tight-knit multigenerational home that runs on love, laughter, and grit. But this — this is too much to carry alone.
We’re asking for help to cover inpatient rehab, home recovery needs, travel, and basic living costs while she heals. If you can give, share, or even just send prayers, light, love, healing and good vibes— we are deeply grateful.
