Hello, my name is Blanca, I find myself in a situation where I need to reach out for help to raise money for medical needs for my medically complex 1-year-old baby boy. My baby Eli was born with a rare genetic disorder (mosaic trisomy 8), kidney disease, and has other medical conditions; trach & ventilator dependent, GJ dependent, and is on peritoneal dialysis every night. We are in need of medical supplies that unfortunately the insurance doesn’t fully cover, and also with hurricane season, we are trying to prepare in case of an emergency. We need to save for a good generator that will keep all of his medical equipment running. We also are trying to raise money for some out of pocket expenses that are starting to add up. After he was born, We spent 7 months in the hospital and he was finally able to come home in February 2025. It has been a huge transition for us, having to adjust to all his medical needs and having 24 hour private nurses at home to make sure he is comfortable, happy and getting strong. Our goal has always been to have full intervention and help our baby in every way we can. It’s been a hard road for us, but our strong boy has shown us how strong he is and despite of everything he has been through, baby is still smiling and such a happy baby.
