Hi, my name is Gabriela, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Dominic Peguero, who is my siblings’ brother and someone very close to our family. Dominic is 20 years old and lives in Venezuela, where he has been struggling with a chronic skin condition called psoriasis since 2021. His health situation has become increasingly serious.
In January, he was hospitalized due to complications and the lack of access to proper treatment. The medication he urgently needs — Humira (adalimumab) — is a biologic drug that helps control his condition, but it is extremely expensive and hard to find in Venezuela.
As many of you may know, Venezuela is facing a severe economic and healthcare crisis. Basic medicines are already difficult to get, and life-saving treatments like Humira are often out of reach for families like his. Dominic needs this medication regularly, but he simply cannot afford it on his own.
I’m organizing this donation request for him because he deserves the chance to manage his condition and live a healthier, more stable life. Any contribution, no matter the size, would make a meaningful difference.
