Christopher has been struggling to gain a consistent handle on his sobriety for years. Recently, he was sleeping in the streets of Orlando, unable to even get into a homeless shelter. His family felt the situation urgent. We found a great program for him in Houston, where he would be close to his sister Eugenie.
Into Action Today includes 30 days of intensive in-patient care, with further options for step-down living once he completes the first phase successfully. Of all the rehabilitation facilities the family has looked at over the years, this is one of the most promising. The only drawback is that it is privately run and does not accept Medicaid.
We trying to raise $23,000 in total to get Chris through his first month at Into Action and to be able to participate in the follow-up program, covering about 3 months of care. We pray that soon he will be able to shoulder the responsibility of his recovery expenses himself, but for now, he needs us, and we need you. Please consider donating to support Christopher.
