Surrogacy Hope for Kayla and Brayan

We’re a hardworking, close-knit family with one dream: to become parents.

My husband is a cabinet designer who works with AutoCAD. I’m a teacher working three jobs—teaching, tutoring 3-8th grade students at a non profit, and college advising—to help support our family and this journey. I’m also a published author, and in the little free time I have, I write fantasy and contemporary-romance novels (Blood Oath: Storm Breaker I and Fated to Love You from my Chasing the Comet series).

As a family, we love traveling, learning about different cultures, walking our dogs, and spending time together. My dad and husband often go to the gym together—it’s their favorite way to unwind and stay strong.

When my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, our world shifted. My dad had to retire early to care for her full-time. We combined households so we could all support one another. Watching my mom fade has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced, and more than anything, I want to give her a moment of joy—a chance to meet her first and only grandchild while she still remembers.

My husband and I have been trying to have a child for six years.

We’ve endured years of doctor visits, and painful procedures. After a recent surgery to remove a 3-pound fibroid from my uterus, and with my 40th birthday approaching, we were told that surrogacy is our best and only chance to have a child.

With hope in our hearts, we partnered with Miracle Surrogacy and have been matched with an amazing surrogate who has given us the first real glimmer of light at the end of a long road.

To make this dream possible, we took out a loan against our home. As you can imagine, the financial burden is heavy. Each month, we face high payments, but we’re committed—because this is our only shot to become parents.

Now we’re humbly asking for help.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward our surrogacy costs. Even a small donation—$5 or $10—gets us closer to bringing our baby home. And more than anything, it brings us hope.

If you’re able to contribute or share our story, we are deeply grateful. Your support means the world to us. Thank you for believing in our family and helping us bring a new life into the world—one that has been longed for, prayed for, and already so loved.

With heartfelt thanks,

Kayla and Brayan

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
