As some of you may know, my younger brother James and his girlfriend are currently facing an incredibly challenging time. At just 24 weeks pregnant, her water unexpectedly broke, and she has been admitted to Ruby Memorial Hospital, where she will remain until their baby girl is born.
The medical team is doing everything possible to keep their baby safe and allow her to grow as much as possible before delivery. While they are holding onto hope and strength, the circumstances have placed a significant emotional and financial strain on them.
James is now traveling back and forth daily between work and the hospital, balancing responsibilities and trying to provide the best support he can. With his girlfriend unable to work and requiring long-term hospitalization, they are facing mounting expenses for food, gas, parking, and daily essentials costs that quickly add up.
This is their first child, and the unexpected nature of this journey has been overwhelming and scary for them both. We are reaching out to ask for any support whether through donations, gift cards, meals, or simply sharing this message that could help lighten their load and allow them to focus on what matters most: the health and safety of their daughter.
