Hello, my name is Claudia. I’m creating this fundraiser for my brother. I want to make he’s life a little easier.
He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and it has already spread to different parts of his body. Everything changed in a moment. He had to leave his home and move to the capital for treatment. He was flown there on a medical plane.
My brother is calm, kind, and full of light. He loves to dance, practice yoga, ride his bike and his coffee in the morning, amo g many other simple things about life. He’s worked in a mine for over 30 years, a man of the earth. Even now, with everything he’s facing, he stays positive. He has a wife and daughter who adore him, a granddaughter who misses his presence, and friends and coworkers who have sent him beautiful messages of love and strength.
He’s always been a strong one, but even strong souls need help. His health insurance and work benefits aren’t enough to cover what this fight demands. And I know, deep down, that beyond the man, there’s still the little boy he once was, and all he needs right now is to feel held, seen, and reminded that life still carries sweetness.
I believe in the connections that tie us together, like roots beneath the earth, like the air we all breathe. I believe in kindness, in community, and in the invisible threads that pull us to one another in hard times.
