Hello. I am currently in an urgent situation. I am a type 1 diabetic and am nearly out of my insulin. I am a month behind on my insurance payment due to being unable to work due to diabetic complications and hospitalization. This was caused due to rationalizing my insulin as insulin costs have been rising and I am my own sole provider. My health has greatly suffered because of this and I’m beginning to see the effects in my eyes with fading vision caused by high blood sugar. I have currently rejoined my job but I am in immediate need of insulin and am afraid I will not be able to pay for it on my next paycheck. The $700 will go to getting my insulin ($540) and catching up on my insurance payment ($217) so I can avoid being in such a dangerous situation as this one. I wish for a world where the medications you need to keep yourself alive aren’t one slip away from being unaffordable. No one should ever live in that fear. Thank you so much for your kindness.
