Dave’s Fight Against COPD: Your Help Matters

Hi, my name is David. I go by Dave to the few friends I have still kicking.

Three years ago, I picked up COVID and was in the hospital and then rehab for nearly 7 months. After a while, I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it out of the rehab center at all, but I ended up having no choice. My insurance would not cover another day, and I was quite literally rolled out the back door in the dark of night.

I came home and began my fight to live. I have late-stage COPD, so my stamina and ability to breathe and do much of anything have greatly diminished. I’m trying to get on a new medication, and the copay is just something I can’t afford. I also am trying to get a portable oxygen machine and try some other therapies that I am just financially unable to do at this time.

I just had my 77th birthday, and I am a veteran of the Air Force. Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated. All the best, Dave.
