Our beloved dog, Obi-Wan, is only four years old — still so young, full of energy, love, and light. But recently, he’s been diagnosed with early arthritis and severe joint damage in his back knee. The bones are grinding together when he moves. Watching him limp and struggle through pain every day has been absolutely heartbreaking. He doesn’t understand why he can’t run and play like he used to.
We’ve been told he needs surgery, along with annual plasma and steroid injections to manage the pain and keep him mobile. Without this care, his condition will only worsen — and time is not on our side.
We’re currently in the middle of buying our first home, and financially, we’re stretched far beyond what we can handle. The cost of Obi-Wan’s medical treatment — about $3,500 — just isn’t something we can afford right now, no matter how much we wish we could.
We’re filled with anxiety and guilt, knowing what he needs and not being able to give it to him. Obi-Wan isn’t just a pet — he’s our family. He’s been there for us through life’s biggest ups and downs. Now he needs us, and we’re reaching out to ask for help.
If you’re able to give anything, even a few dollars, or share this with others, it would mean the world. Every little bit brings us closer to getting Obi the relief he desperately needs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
