Aid Dan’s Healing and Susan’s Daily Journey

Dan Parish was admitted to the hospital on May 31, 2025, with atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure. He has no insurance because none is available through his part-time job, and ACA insurance was too expensive on his salary and his wife Susan’s disability income.

Tests revealed that Dan also had an aneurysm in his heart at the base of the aorta. This required open-heart surgery. Dan is currently recovering from this surgery with an anticipated ICU stay of five to seven days.

Susan is traveling daily to Las Vegas from Pahrump to be with Dan. The expenses of gas and meals are adding up as well.
