Hello everyone,
My name is Carmen Elena Perez, and today I’m writing with all my heart to ask for urgent help for Angela Birardi de Zavala, my dear childhood friend and godmother to my son, Max Ramirez.
Angela has just been diagnosed with B-type Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-ALL) and has already begun her fight for recovery.
I’m organizing this campaign because Angela and her family live in Venezuela, a country that doesn’t receive direct support from fundraiser.
Angela is married to Adolfo Zavala, who is also my friend. Together, they are the parents of 15-year-old twins, a girl and a boy. Today, Angela needs our help more than ever.
Her disease is aggressive and requires immediate treatment. The chemotherapy regimen she needs, along with general exams, biopsies, consultations at specialized clinics, and more, is estimated to cost approximately $25,000.
This is an unattainable sum for her under the current conditions in Venezuela, even though Angela and Adolfo own their own business.
I’m starting this campaign to raise the necessary funds and give Angela the opportunity to fight and heal. She deserves the chance to continue being the strong, active, and productive woman she’s always been.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be a step toward her recovery.
And if you can’t donate, please share this story. Your help can truly make a difference.
With gratitude,
Carmen Elena
