Hi, my name is Shannon, and I’m raising funds to help cover unexpected and overwhelming medical expenses for our son, Jayden.
Jayden recently underwent major oral surgery—including wisdom teeth removal, two root canals, crowns, and fillings—totaling $7,225 out-of-pocket, even after insurance. This follows an emergency appendectomy and much-needed braces earlier this year.
Jayden is autistic and has extreme oral sensitivity, which makes typical in office procedures traumatic and difficult. Because in-office procedures couldn’t be completed, the issues worsened and led to more extensive (and expensive) treatment under anesthesia.
I’m currently working two jobs and tutoring on the side just to keep up, but the bills are piling up and we’ve hit a wall. I’ve placed the dental expenses on a credit card and am doing everything I can to keep our heads above water.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a huge help for our family. If you’re not able to give, sharing this with others would mean so much to us.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you.
