Give what you can, share if you can’t, and help us lift up a man who’s given so much to others.
Our brother and guitarist Rick Migaud needs your help.
Rick has been the soul of Red Hot Tribute since day one. For over ten years, he’s been our John Frusciante, not just in sound but in spirit. If you’ve ever seen us live, chances are you’ve watched Rick on stage, pouring every ounce of heart into each note.
Earlier this year, Rick was diagnosed with cancer in his jaw. It’s affected his ability to chew and swallow, and it’s taken a real toll on his day-to-day life. Despite the seriousness of his condition, Rick is committed to healing naturally. He’s chosen to avoid chemotherapy and surgery in favor of a path focused on nutrition, natural medicine, and major lifestyle changes.
He’s staying strong and doing everything he can, but there’s a tough reality behind the scenes. None of his treatments are covered by insurance. Every appointment, therapy, supplement, and meal plan has come out of his own pocket. It adds up fast, and he shouldn’t have to go through this financial burden alone. As a band, we’ve been supporting him as much as we can. We’ve lined up substitute guitarists so he can take time off to rest and focus on his health. But now we’re asking for your help too.
Whether you know Rick personally or not, we’re hoping you’ll consider donating whatever you can. Every single dollar helps lighten the load and gives Rick a better shot at healing. If you can’t donate, sharing this with others is just as valuable. Rick is one of the most genuine and loving people we know. He’s handling this with strength, patience, and real hope. He believes he can beat this, and so do we.
To rally around him in person, Red Hot Tribute will be hosting a Live Benefit Show for Rick Saturday, July 26th at The Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach, CA.
All proceeds will go directly toward his treatment.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for showing up. Let’s help Rick get the healing he deserves and bring him back to the stage where he belongs.
With love,
Red Hot Tribute
