Help Save My Parents: Rohingya Refugees Need Urgent Medical Care
Campaign Title: Save My Parents’ Lives: Urgent Medical Treatment Needed
Goal: $10,000 USD (~13 lakh BDT) for medical treatment
Story:
My name is Sayedul Hoque, a 23-year-old Rohingya refugee living in Kathmandu, Nepal. I am reaching out with a heavy heart, seeking your kindness to save my parents, who are fighting for their lives in a Rohingya refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. My mother is battling cancer, and my father suffers from painful hemorrhoids and gallstones. Their conditions are critical, and without urgent treatment, I fear losing them forever.
As a young student struggling to complete my education in Nepal, I have no means to afford the estimated $10,000 (13 lakh BDT) needed for their medical care. My parents, like many Rohingya, fled persecution in Myanmar, hoping for safety in Bangladesh. But life in the crowded camps is harsh, with limited healthcare—only 20 critical care beds serve 3 million people. My mother’s cancer requires specialized treatment, likely in Dhaka, and my father needs urgent surgery. I’ve attached medical reports, X-rays, and photos to show their dire situation.
Despite reaching out to NGOs like BRAC, Islamic Relief, and MSF, funding shortages limit their ability to cover such high costs. Crowdfunding is my last hope to give my parents a chance at life. Your donation, no matter how small, can help pay for hospital visits, surgeries, medicines, and follow-up care. Every dollar brings us closer to saving them.
I dream of a day when my parents can smile again, free from pain. Your support will not only save their lives but also give hope to our family and countless others in similar struggles. Please donate and share this campaign with your friends and family. Your kindness is our lifeline.
