Keep a fathers heart beating-help Jose Luis

My name is Joscelin, and I’m reaching out with a heart that’s breaking and hopeful at the same time. My dad, Jose Luis—my hero, my rock—is in the fight of his life.

Jose Luis came to this country with nothing but the clothes on his back, seeking a better life for his family. As an immigrant, he worked tirelessly—long hours, often multiple jobs—to support me and my two siblings. His dedication, hard work, and selflessness have been the foundation of our lives. He has always put us first, even when times were tough, and now he needs us to return that same love and support.

My dad has been diagnosed with advanced liver disease and autoimmune hepatitis, and now, his only chance at survival is a life-saving liver transplant. Every day, his condition worsens. He’s in and out of the hospital, fighting infections, battling pain, and growing weaker. But through it all, he holds on with the same strength and resilience that he has shown his entire life. His will to live is as strong as his will to give.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of this transplant is overwhelming. Between medical bills, specialist care, medications, and post-surgery recovery, we are facing a mountain that feels too steep to climb alone.

That’s why I’m asking—pleading—for your help.

No donation is too small. Every dollar brings us closer to saving his life and giving him a chance to keep living, keep working, and keep loving us. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign. The more people who see it, the more hope we have.

This is not just about keeping someone alive—it’s about giving a father more time with his children, a grandfather more memories to make, and a hardworking, kind man more chances to smile, laugh, and live.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting. Your kindness could be the reason our dad gets a second chance at life.

With love and gratitude,

Joscelin

Translation:

Joscelin

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
