Help Our Mom Fight Small Cell Carcinoma — Her Third Battle
Hi, my name is Corrie. My siblings and I are raising funds for our incredible mom, Connie VanOrden, who is facing cancer for the third time — and this time, it’s the most aggressive yet.
She’s been diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma, a fast-moving, difficult disease that demands equally intense treatment. The chemo and care are taking a harsh toll on her body and spirit, but she’s fighting with everything she has — just like she always has.
Our mom is the strongest woman I know. She raised three kids on her own, working hard to give us a life full of love, stability, and opportunity — even when she had little for herself. She’s been through more than most, and now she’s up against her hardest battle yet.
We’re doing everything we can to support her, but the costs are overwhelming. Treatment is not only aggressive, it’s expensive — and she can’t work during this time. Every dollar raised will help with:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Travel to and from treatment
Medications, nutrition, and recovery care
Basic living costs such as mortgage, while she focuses on healing
Our mom has ALWAYS put others first — and through all of this, she never misses a beat. She shows up and supports her grandchildren in any activity they’re involved in. She shows up for all of their accomplishments and is a true definition of strength. Now, we’re asking for a little of that love to come back her way. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer, anything helps. We’re so grateful for your support in this fight.
Thank you for standing with us.
With love,
Corrie, Nelson & Skyler. (All of our babies too!)
