At Hope Bridge, we believe in standing in the gap when life takes an unexpected and painful turn. Today, we are reaching out on behalf of a talented and resilient soul Oshane, a 30 year old up and coming reggae producer from Jamaica whose dreams were put on pause after a tragic accident.
One morning, on his usual walk to work, Oshane was struck by a car. The vehicle ran over his foot, shattering bones and changing the course of his life in an instant. Since that day, everything has become a struggle from basic mobility to affording the medical care and surgery he urgently needs to heal.
Oshane’s passion for music was not just a career it was his way of giving back, uplifting his community through rhythms and lyrics rooted in love and perseverance. Now, he finds himself unable to work, with no income to cover his medical bills and a mortgage that’s quickly falling behind. He is on the verge of losing his home while still in pain and recovery.
