Early Sunday morning, our beloved dog Baby was tragically hit by a car. Thankfully, a kind stranger found her and rushed her to the nearest pet hospital. Baby is a fighter—she survived the accident but has suffered severe injuries.
She has a broken femur and the skin on her jaw was torn off. Vets are working hard to save her, and she will need 3–4 surgeries to repair her jaw and leg. The estimated cost for her treatment and recovery is $20,000.
We’re happy to share that Baby has just completed her first surgery, which is already paid for—and she is responding incredibly well. Her strength and spirit have amazed us, and the veterinary team is confident she will pull through her upcoming surgeries with the same determination.
Baby is the most loving, caring, and loyal doggie we have ever met. She has the sweetest soul and greets every person with love and trust. She has always been there in our times of need and would comfort us anytime we were sad, sick, or just had a hard day. She has been there through everything and now it is our time to be there for her. She still has so much love to give and receive and we want to do anything we can for her. Whatever it takes because she deserves everything.
She also has the most charming quirks—Baby absolutely loves meat and peanut butter. She’s not too fond of fruits or veggies, and she’s very particular about her toys. Her favorites are soft, plushy ones she can cuddle or carry around—tennis balls and rope toys just aren’t her thing.
One of her funniest traits is her total dislike of technology. She despises the sound of phone notifications and refuses to acknowledge screens—she won’t look at a phone, computer, or TV no matter how hard we try. It’s like she’s living in her own little unplugged world, and we love that about her.
Baby means the world to us. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward her surgeries and care. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with your fellows!
If you would like to contribute but prefer not to donate through fundraiser, you can make a payment directly to the veterinary clinic. Your contribution will be applied toward Baby’s total medical costs.
