Support for Urgent Medical and Dental Needs

I don’t want to scare anyone with my photo but no dental care due to my very low platelet count (13,000 past few years but I’m afraid to know now with all the bruising I have) and my insurance has glitched. I found out a year ago on Mother’s Day that it had lapsed. I made $1,350 last year on Doordash so not sure why the one assistance program I was on didn’t continue as I’d been told.

Every month I’ve tried to cover my monthly dr appt and basic meds like multiple blood pressure meds. Now my pharmacy is closing and I’m hoping I can find a place that takes coupons like the last one did which kept it to just over 200 a month for dr and pharmacy.

I also have been paying very high interest on a loan that first month I had to pay out of pocket again with no income and my youngest tries to get me a meal of some sort many days- since the delivery job is dead here. Hoping when I have a newer phone n can update the iOS n then the app that maybe offers will pour in this summer again.

I’m trying to come up with some way to make the $ to repay the $300 loan (2nd n final time as it’s too difficult now) and latest $50 interest and cover my dr n rxs for the month and have enough to go visit my relatives in Ny and maybe even get an outfit that’s weather appropriate for the first time in a few years some place inexpensive like Walmart.

if anyone made it this far thank you for reading it and i don’t want anyone who really can’t swing it to think twice about it. I’m doing this rather than putting anyone on the spot. I also don’t think i can even explain over the phone because I start crying over aspects of my life lately.

My goal after I get those things taken care of is not to be lucky to sleep 30 min overnight bc of anxiety over all this and fear of not making it that long at this rate but to relax a little more and then focus on what comes next.

I’ve had family help in the past but I’m 53 years old and I have some agoraphobia (it will get better when I would be out busy, but with nobody around here that I know to go out with… even before the teeth were all rotting out of my head and my doctor put it a few weeks ago… but right now it’s not good at all.

Any more than I wrote here I would explain in a private message. oh yeah, I left out I go through a bottle of Tums a day. when I’ve had to borrow money for Tums, unless I live with them I often wonder if the person believes how many times a day I have to take them.

After I take care of the xyz bills locally (and get food, gas etc) I’ll probably get to the ER where my last GD specialist is and find out if they’re going to do the surgeries needed or just wait for me to die from a paper cut or something from the dental issues like my sister in law died of. No idea how she let fear of the dentist be what killed her. Sadly. But this isn’t my choice as afraid as anyone else is of dental work.

I hope this makes sense as I finally drifted off and had to get up for the loo.

if you’re able to share this with anyone who maybe can relate and might be able to help I would love to pay it forward if given the chance. I’m falling apart but I have not given up.

prayers for me but also all my family members who are dealing with medical problems and those living in war zones and all… are as appreciated too please.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
