On Thursday, June 5th, Victor fell off his ladder while he was working. He shattered his whole left leg. He was transferred to St. Mary’s from where he was working by ambulance. Once there, and after they did some X-rays, they determined the surgery is too extensive and he would have to be transferred to Loyola University in Illinois. He was transferred by ambulance. They did some X-rays, MRI, and other tests to determine exactly what’s going on. He has an extensive amount of injuries to his leg. On Friday, they went in and did their first surgery, putting in rods and a frame to hold his leg in place to get some of the swelling down. Once the swelling is down enough, they will proceed with the second surgery.
This is a long road of recovery, but I’m positive we will get there. We’ve been traveling from Indiana to Illinois every day to visit and spend time with him. We’re looking for a little bit of help to balance out all of the expenses we’re encountering. Also, please pray that God helps him recover and gives us all strength to get through this and he can get home quickly with his kids and family. Thank you.
