Hello, my name is Amy. I’m Mike’s girlfriend, and we’ve been together for 7 years now. We’ve had a happy life up until last year when we discovered Mike has mouth and throat cancer. After he started his treatment, he started to miss work a lot. Unfortunately, he was let go due to his absences. He wasn’t able to get unemployment because he didn’t have enough hours accumulated. So right now, I’m the only one with some income, and our bills are piling up. We recently received a foreclosure notice on my house.
Mike’s been actively looking for a local trucking job but was only offered a long-haul trucking job. A long-haul job would take his time away from getting his treatment here, and I’m trying to stop him from doing that. That’s why I’m reaching out for any help to prevent that. Anything that you can help with, even if it’s just a prayer, we would very much appreciate it.
