My sister Kaitlyn was involved in a tragic car accident in New York City in March 2025, that involved two other people from another vehicle whose lives were so suddenly taken from them due to a drunk driver hitting the other car, causing my sister Kaitlyn’s car to flip upside down, leaving her trapped for 25 minutes until EMS were able to rescue her. My family will continue to keep the others’ families in our prayers.
But due to the circumstances of my sister’s health issues and treatment she is receiving at this time, her medical costs are very expensive and she has to undergo another major surgery to repair the feeling in her left leg that was 20% burned. She has lost her apartment and job. Kaitlyn is going deaf in her left ear due to weakness from her neck; doctors said it is nerve damage. Her life has been turned upside down; it’s just heartbreaking to see my sister go through this.
To the ones who know Kaitlyn, my sister was full of life and laughter, enjoying family and friends. So, I’m asking on behalf of my sister Kaitlyn that any donation would help cover her medical expenses and also to have somewhere for her to live when she is medically stable to be discharged from the hospital.
