On Friday, June 6, our dear friend Julie Baerman’s 16-year-old son Oliver was in a serious car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI). He is currently in the ICU at Harborview, fighting hard while surrounded by his loving family and a team of medical professionals.
Although there has been no intentional communication from Oliver yet, we are holding on to hope. His scans show no major bleeding or swelling, but there is widespread microscopic damage to his brain. The road to recovery is uncertain, but we are praying and believing for healing.
Oliver is a beloved son, teammate, and friend—known for his bright spirit, kind heart, and willingness to help others. He’s a proud member of Mt. Si High School’s football team and is loved by so many in the community.
Now it’s our turn to help him. Funds raised will go toward hospital bills, rehab, therapy, and support for his family as they walk through this incredibly difficult time.
