Aid for Nana Tina: Life After Heart Attack and Limb Loss

Hello! My name is Kiera Reichard and on April 25, 2025, my nana Tina DiBari had a severe, life-threatening heart attack while at work. After a 50/50 chance of surviving through her surgery, she made it through. However, due to extreme lack of blood flow, it left her with irreversible gangrene in all four of her limbs, plus difficulty thinking.

My nana is a second generation in the US from Italy and has always been incredibly hard-working no matter what life throws at her, which includes her trying to close the store she was working at while having a heart attack (omg). She’s one of the strongest women I know, and she’s been through so many hardships. Now I would like to help her.

It is likely my Nana will lose many of her limbs, especially her left hand, which she is sadly dominant in. Her hospital bill reached over $2.5 million before financial aid; however, that aid does not account for the rehab, occupational therapy, and prosthetics in the future. The mental toll this will take on her may be debilitating. I need to make sure she continues to have a high quality of life. This is not going to be life-ending on my watch.

Please consider donating for my beloved Nana. She has so many family members that can use this money for good to help her and make sure she still experiences all that life has to offer. My mom and her three siblings, my Nana’s three siblings, and her seven grandchildren are all going through it. We need help. Thank you for reading.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
