Hello, I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend, Dawn Des Vignes.
On Christmas Day, what should have been a joyful and peaceful time turned into a nightmare for our beloved friend, Dawn. A devastating car accident left her with life-altering injuries – she is now paralyzed from the waist down and has limited mobility in her up upper body and hands.
This sudden tragedy has changed every aspect of her life. Once independent and full of energy, Dawn now faces a long and difficult road to recovery and adjustment. She will require extensive physical therapy, a specialized wheelchair, home modifications and 24/7 care to support her daily needs.
Despite the unimaginable challenges ahead, Dawn is showing incredible strength and determination. But she and her family cannot do this alone. We’re asking for your help to ease the enormous financial burden of her medical expenses, rehabilitation and necessary changes to her living environment.
