My name is Joyce. I suffered from essential tremors. We tried meds, and they needed to be more invasive, so I had to undergo brain surgery. They placed two electrodes in both sides of my brain. Then, a week later, I had to go in for wires and my device to be put in and hooked up. Three weeks later, they started turning it on slowly.

But while I was off, my employer sold the business. As I worked as a bar manager and server, I’m struggling trying to find work! I didn’t want it to get to me asking for help, but I’m to the point I need to. Anything helps, and I appreciate you reading my story.
