Hello neighbors Paws To Care here. I wanted to give everyone an update on the 3 kittens that were spotted and then found in the neighborhood this week. As of right now, everyone is well-fed and warm.
One of the babies had a pretty severe open wound injury along its neck. It was taken straight to the veterinarian with the amazing help of our volunteer Sabryna Osborn.
It was a ruptured abscess from a botfly bite, and the baby got all the care it needed. I wanted to do a small fundraiser to cover the cost of the vet visit. We did get a great price since the baby was just a found rescue. We are wanting to raise money to cover the kittens’ medical costs. As a very small private rescue, all costs directly fall on me, and every bit of help lets me continue to save lives. All 3 of the Saddlecreek Field Kittens are doing great and have been named Seabiscuit, Secretariat & Spirit.
Thank you
