Support a mother of 3 fight against silicone poisoning!

18 years ago, before I had kids, I allowed someone claiming to be a nurse at a surgeon’s office to inject me with silicone shots. I was young and didn’t know the consequences that I would have to endure this many years later. The poison has caused so many health problems.

I’m now seeing my primary doctor and 5 different specialists. I’ve been hospitalized, had to have multiple blood transfusions, lost over 30 pounds in a short amount of time, and been put on steroids and other medications trying to treat the symptoms but not the actual problem. I’ve been bedridden for about 4 months now. I have a list of disturbing symptoms I won’t name all. I can’t even stand long enough to cook for my family. I’m in constant pain.

Even though this is definitely a medical emergency, my insurance, which is Medicaid, will not pay for the much-needed surgery to finally rid myself of this poison and this part of my life entirely. They consider it cosmetic. They will treat the symptoms but NOT the problem.

I now have 3 beautiful kids I would like to live and show up for that I wasn’t thinking about before because they weren’t born. This is an embarrassing and humiliating thing to share. Even worse, asking for help, but I am humbling myself because without your help I don’t know when I can have this done.

If I reach my goal and have the surgery, I will post the journey (pics and daily updates) to show my appreciation and to help young girls not make the mistake I did. PLEASE fundraiser!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
